Growth in 2025 will be driven by a more bullish economic picture and low base effects from 2024. Our Country Risk team forecasts that Oman’s real GDP growth rate will accelerate from an estimated 1.9% in 2024 to 3.9% in 2025, supporting growth in construction, while government efforts to diversify sources of economic activity. Investment by Saudi Arabia will support the market, helping keep construction market growth to exceed 4% per annum in 2026, 2027 and 2028. Energy and Utility projects continue to dominate the pipeline, including LNG projects and non-hydropower renewables.
